Well, it’s been quite a while since I’ve written anything here. There’s a ton of fascinating technology I’ve been playing around with that I would like to write about, but I feel like a reintroduction is in order first.

I’m now a software engineer living outside Utrecht in the Netherlands. I live here with my wife and son, and I work for Bol.com and get to work on tons of amazing technologies every day. I also get to work with people from all over the world every day.

I’ve added tons of new technologies to my toolkit like Kotlin, Spring Boot, Angular, Vue, BigQuery, Typescript, Docker, Terraform, GCP Cloud Build, GCP Cloud Run, Cypress, CI/CD pipelines, PlantUML, Yarn, NodeJS, Express, GCP Cloud Scheduler, etc. It feels like new amazing technology is coming out every day.
